Save the dates for “28 Hours of Hope”, “Run For a Child’s Sake” and “Bocce y Bella Sera”

Three of the Child Advocacy Center’s largest events are coming up in the next six months.

“28 Hours of Hope” is a call-in fundraiser organized by K99 radio that benefits three local non-profits that work with children: The Child Advocacy Center, A Kids Place and the Namaqua Center. This annual event is scheduled to run from 5 am on March 22nd until 9 am on March 23rd.

“Run For a Child’s Sake” is a race through old-town Fort Collins. All proceeds will benefit the CAC. The 16th annual run will be June 9th.

“Bocce y Bella Sera” is our signature fundraiser, and a great time in general. Bocce is also known as “Italian lawn-bowling”, and our event involves bocce team competitions, an Italian dinner and a silent and live auction. The 11th annual “Bocce y Bella Sera” will be August 18th, from 2-8pm, at Kroh Park in Loveland.

More information will be coming out in the future about all these events. Please mark your calendars and join us for these events to benefit the CAC!

As mentioned here before, every time someone gets a “Works Wash” at Richie’s, $3 is donated to the CAC if the customer presents a Richie’s Payback Rewards Card with our information on it. We have the cards here at the CAC if you would like to participate in this program; contact us and we will find a way to get you a card. Colorado Gives Day Extended

Colorado Gives Day has been extended until noon on Wednesday, December 7th due to technical problems they had this morning. That means if you would like to support us through this great opportunity, you have more time to do so. There is an easy link on our home page, the green and yellow button that says “Giving First”, to our page on the Colorado Gives Day site. A partial match will be made by generous businesses to any donation made through Colorado Gives Day before noon on the 7th.

Donations to the CAC can be made through the link to “Giving First” on any day year-round, so if you missed Colorado Gives Day, don’t let that stop you from supporting us!

Colorado Gives Day

On December 6th, people across Colorado will support their favorite non-profit organizations with donations large and small. What makes donations on that day more effective is the pledged matching donations that many businesses and organizations will make, resulting in even more financial support for essential places like the Child Advocacy Center!

Please support the CAC and the important work we do on December 6th; the “Giving First” button on our home page will connect you directly to Colorado Gives and you can choose us as the recipient of your donation. Thank you for thinking of us and for any support you can provide.
