This
fun road race typically sees between 300 and 500 racers out
and about northern Colorado in support of the Larimer County
Child Advocacy Center. Registration fees are $25
for adults and $16 for children (under 13). This fee
is for the 5K run, 5K walk and 1 mile kids' run. All
paid entries receive a t-shirt. There is also a FREE
Fun Run for the little ones (a few hundred yards). To

Guardian
Award Luncheon
April 10, 2008
The
11th Annual Guardian Award Luncheon will be held at the Lincoln
Center to recognize a professional who does excellent work
with child abuse victims in Larimer County. Nominations
for this prestigious award can be made by submitting
letter to the Guardian Award Selection Committee in care
of the Larimer County Child Advocacy Center, 5529 S. Timberline
Road, Fort Collins, CO. 80528. Nominations
can also be faxed to 407-9743. Award nominees should:

Be a professional involved in child abuse issues in Larimer
County
-
Demonstrate outstanding concern for the individual children
with whom they work.

Be dedicated to their role in child abuse cases
-
Have a positive impact in promoting the multidisciplinary
approach to the investigation, prosecution and treatment of
child abuse
The
deadline for submitting nominations is March 28, 2008.

Award will be presented at the luncheon which is by invitation
